Hi and welcome to my website! I finally had the time to fix something for my international customers; most of you really don't have a clue what I am talking about on the Dutch part of my website.

I'll start of by telling you a little bit about myself.
My name is Suzanne Noordewier and I am a proud mother of four beautiful children. After going through a divorce, I ended up on welfare; being in this type of situation, without a regular job, was pretty hard on me. One day I was surfing on the internet looking for loose beads to make myself a pretty necklace, and I stumbled upon a fabulous website with the prettiest beads I had ever seen.

I soon learned that these beads where really special: they where handmade! I had never heard of such a thing and decided to search the internet for handmade beads. A whole new world opened right before my eyes. I was so intrigued and in awe with all those pretty beads that I decided to try and make some myself. Little did I know!

Being in a tough financial situation meant that I could not afford all the pretty beads I saw, so I saved up my pennies and got myself a lovely starter set: a Hot Head torch, some glass, and some pretty weird looking tools. Two weeks after ordering my starter set, I received a big box full of goodies.

The moment that I made my first bead is a moment that I will never forget. I was instantly hooked on glass.

Now, two years later, I am a full-time bead artist and I make a living from creating my beads. I am proud and incredibly lucky that I managed to turn what started out as a hobby into my job.
My business name, Justmade, is not just a name. The name is made out of the first two letters of each of my kids’ names. Ju is for Julyan, St is for Sterre (which means stars), Ma is for Marino, and De is for Delano.

My beads are sold in various jewelry stores here in the Netherlands, and they are being used by two high profile jewelry designers. I am so grateful that people recognize the art in my beads and that they are just as delighted with them as I am. There, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
